Always wanted to use a sketch book? - then this is the workshop to inspire you.

A sketch book can be a visual diary, somewhere to develop ideas, to hone your drawing skills, to collect reference for paintings and more, but most importantly it is yours to use as you decide.

Demonstration led exercises will show you ways to draw and work in your sketchbooks using a wide variety of media. We will work from both landscape and still life subjects.

There will be plenty of one to one support. The emphasis will be on experimenting and to leave fizzing with ideas and confidence to take forward.

There will be sketch book examples for you to browse, and advice on materials.

Alison is an experienced tutor and her work sells Worldwide as originals and for licence.

The Top Floor at Lewis and Wood is a large, light studio space with parking adjacent.
